Beautiful complete antique metric apothecary/laboratory weight set. Mahogany box contains 9 solid brass and 10 fractional ones. The brass weights are 50g, 20g, 2x10g, 5g, 2g and 3x1g. Fractionals are 500mg to 10mg. Glass plate covers the fractionals. Includes a pair of tweezers for handling the smaller weights
Box measures 4 7/8" long x 3 3/8" deep x 1 3/4" tall.
Solid brass hardware in good working order. Blank manufacturers label.
Box was refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand-polished with superfine steel wool and paste wax to a soft luster. Felt pads protect bottom.
